We had some snow this past month- I am posting my very favorite picture of my guys!
Here is what David has been up to:
-He can walk 30+ feet if I'm right in front of him walking backwards with my hands extended close out to him.
-David is very playful. Lots of smiles, lots of laughing and love. He is very social.
-David's favorite thing is spinning circular toys on our coffee table. He loves to watch toys spin!
-David now signs "drink" by putting his thumb in his mouth. I am constantly signing for everything we say and do, hopefully it is starting to click!
-David is starting to join in on the elevator song by patting his legs. He gets very excited when the elevator goes to the 5th floor!
-I'm trying to have David say "more" since he can sign that word so well. I'm practicing this with bubbles since it's such a fun thing to ask more of. Making him practice language with food can be bad since he'll get impatient and will get very frustrated... But I got him to vocally say a random sound for more, which is good since I want him to be verbal and not silent.
-We start our language class this week so we'll be doing lots of language therapy this next 2 months. I'm very excited to see if it helps!
USCIS approval in last week! Home verification form done!
We are waiting for our homestudy update to come in the mail so do my husband's work verification and then we can get our dossier apostilled and sent off to the Ukraine!
Sounds like David is doing great! Congratulations on your USCIS approval - soon you will be holding that sweet boy in your arms! Can't wait to hear your travel date!
