David's slightly sick, with a runny nose and runny stool. He had 2 baths today, which isn't bad for being a little under the weather! I'm really excited that we are going to start a speech therapy program called the Hanen Project. It's weekly from 4-6pm. It starts on February 16th, which I'll miss due to work, but I will make all of the other weeks.
The timing for this program is really great because my last day at my job of over 7 and a half years is on the 17th. I took a voluntary lay off, which includes 10 weeks severance pay and thereafter, unemployment benefits. I'm excited that I can go forward with the adoption without having to worry about work for the time being. I can just focus on Evan and making sure he is healthy and adapting to our family and learning to love and trust us as we love on him!
